Advint has released an optional Universal Power Supply (UPS) power pack for use with its Puma tester, or other 3rd party systems. This power pack is designed for worldwide deployment in harsh physical and electrical environments. It is suited for use in shipboard and mobile applications. The power pack allows for operation from any international power standard, as well as generators in the field. It operates off of an input of 80-265 VAC @ 47-440 Hz, or 22-32 VDC. Output of the device is 2,000 Watts of nominal 115VAC. Battery operating time is 7.5 minutes under full load and approximately 30 minutes under typical load. The power pack comes in its own stand alone enclosure which also acts as its shipping container.
