Advint delivers 40th Puma test system

Advint recently delivered its 40th Puma test system in December 2005. The Puma is an industry leading rugged portable test system for factory to field support. It provides a scalable, open-architecture platform for functional testing of a variety of digital, analog, and RF electronics/avionics. It supports organizational, intermediate, and depot level test activities with a reduced logistics footprint. The system is currently fielded in support of the Army, Navy, Marines, Homeland Defense, and multiple prime contractors.

GUIs provide direct manual control of the test system resources for debug, troubleshooting, and repair activities
XML and SQL test results available
MacPanel's Series L2000 Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) are used for a reliable, compact, high density interface to UUTs
UPS power pack allows operation from generators or any international power standard
Fully automated system Self-Test provides comprehensive tester operational assurance verification
Field calibration via portable NIST traceable standards allows the system to be calibrated in place
Open architecture for easy and cost effective technology insertion and customization to meet other test requirement needs
