Kodak contracts with Advint for new circuit board Test System

Test system to provide maintenance support of latest generation high speed digital printers

Advint has been awarded a contract by Kodak to develop the next generation functional test system for depot support of high speed digital print products at its Dayton, OH location. The system will be used to test and troubleshoot multiple circuit board assemblies as part of Kodak's digital printer depot maintenance activities. The digital revolution has touched every aspect of the printing industry, enhancing conventional press options and pushing digital printers to produce more, faster and with higher quality. Automated functional testing supports this need while at the same time reducing overall costs.

The tester is a PXI based system with a 14-slot chassis, rackmount PC, and fold-down display. Instrumentation includes a DMM, programmable digital modules, switch cards, UUT power supplies, JTAG programmer, and Virginia Panel G12 Receiver and Test Adapters.
