Holophane has selected Advint to update and automate their ballast test capability for its industry leading lighting solutions. The application is written in LabVIEW to measure ballast output at various voltage levels. The solution provides Power Analyzer over-voltage protection circuitry using PZ4000 Power Analyzers to test magnetic and electronic ballasts and protect over voltage conditions resulting from high start up voltages present with the subject ballasts. The application also includes update to Visual Basic LabSuite used for reporting and test requests.
