Advint achieved double digit sales growth in 2011 with expansion of its customer base and industries served. Sales revenue for the year was up over 10% compared to 2010, while backlog increased by more than 6%. Systems were delivered in support of the following industries:
Sales of the all new Cub test system more than doubled last year as demand for portable rugged test systems sharply increased. Advint also introduced its high performance/high channel count Gorilla test system for large data acquisition needs. Sales and support of the Puma rugged portable PXI test system continued to lead the way with 33 upgraded systems delivered, and 80 systems deployed worldwide.
System integration activities for the commercial sector also showed strong increases. In addition, the company increased it's customer base 12% during 2011. Advint also increased sales via it participation as an authorized NI Federal Reseller of National Instruments hardware and software products.
